Immie and Jack have been friends since they were seven years old, but things are changing now that they are in high school. When Jack wins a game-winning goal for the school soccer team, he suddenly finds himself thrust into the popular crowd as a star on the team. As Immie tries to find new friends, it causes her to start to wonder about the identity of her father for the first time. To complicate matters, Immie and Jack are starting to wonder if their feelings for each other could ever be more than friends.
